When show and tell was modified in such a way that students are requested to show to the class their parents and tell the former about the latter, it was obviously not welcomed by most parents. I am one of those parents. Not only am I needed at work every day, I am also very shy of speaking to an audience. This is pretty ironic because I am a firefighter, an employee of the pool service Brentwood branch and a single parent. I have raised Sofia alone and I am very proud of her. She is not the top of her class but she is definitely the smartest. Her mother passed away while she was just a few months old. We were involved in an accident and only I and Sofia survived.
